OUR PURPOSE
The Waterview I Metropolitan District is a Title 32 Special District that was established on July 22, 2005 for the purpose of financing public improvements for the use and benefit of the residents and taxpayers of the District. The District is located on the East side of Colorado Springs adjacent to the Colorado Springs Airport, and is bordered on the North by Powers Boulevard, the West by Grinnell Boulevard, the South by Bradley Road, and on the East by the Big Johnson Reservoir.
Our residential development known as Painted Sky currently consists of 780 single-family homes. A good portion of our community is in the military and work together to help one another out in recommendations for services and finding the best solutions when in need.
